Recently we have been interviewed by Myriam Hadness for her podcast workshops work — a series that sheds light on what happens in the field of contemporary workshop practice.
In episode 5 Romas Stukenberg talked about how “Artistic Intelligence” helps business leaders to approach strategic questions through the lens of art. Art teaches us self-leadership and individual courage. As much as an artist needs to find out how to translate their vision into reality, a business leader needs clarity about the goals to find the appropriate means.
Thereby “creative” is an overused word in the business and innovation context. Most creative sessions are no more than a gamified approach to traditional style of doing business. In contrast, the artistic approach puts participants in the driver’s seat. The focus is on self-leadership and individual courage.
